Your Audi warranty is ending. Here’s what to do first.

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty runs 4 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. If you’re close to either, a little planning now can save you money. Updated November 2026.

Get it checked while it’s still covered

If something is wrong, it’s better to find it before the warranty ends, so covered repairs are done at no cost to you.

Before your warranty ends

  1. Find your exact end date. Coverage starts the day your Audi was first sold or leased as new. See coverage by model year.
  2. Schedule an inspection. Tell our service team about any noise, warning light or quirk, even small ones.
  3. Get covered items fixed now. Once the warranty ends, those repairs are yours to pay.
  4. Decide your next step. Keep it, add coverage, or move to a newer Audi.

Your options

  • Keep it and add coverage. Ask us about extended protection plans and Audi Care prepaid maintenance, so you know your costs ahead of time.
  • Trade it for a new Audi. You start over with a 4-year or 50,000-mile warranty, and 2026 and newer models include maintenance for 3 years or 30,000 miles.
  • Step into a Certified Pre-Owned or Nearly New Audi. Certified adds 1 year or 20,000 miles of coverage after the new-car warranty ends. Nearly New cars still have most of their new-car warranty.

Not sure? We’ll compare the cost of keeping your Audi with the cost of moving to a newer one.
