Electric, plug-in hybrid and emissions coverage

  • Audi e-tron high-voltage battery: 8 years or 100,000 miles on the e-tron SUV and Sportback. Battery capacity can decline with age and isn’t guaranteed to return to 100%.
  • Other electric and plug-in hybrid models (Q4 e-tron, Q6 e-tron, A6 e-tron, e-tron GT, plug-in hybrids): high-voltage battery terms are in your warranty booklet. Ask us and we’ll look up your model.
  • Federal emissions warranty: 2 years or 24,000 miles on emissions parts, and 8 years or 80,000 miles on major parts such as the catalytic converter and engine control module.
  • Pennsylvania drivers: Pennsylvania is one of the states where Audi’s California emissions warranty also applies. Your California Emissions Warranty Supplement lists those terms.

This is a summary. Your Warranty and Maintenance booklet has the full terms and exclusions. Program details are set by Audi and can change.

Warranty vs. maintenance

A warranty pays to fix defects. Maintenance is the routine service your car needs, like oil and filters. On 2026 and newer models, Audi Signature Care covers scheduled maintenance for the first 3 years or 30,000 miles. See Audi Care and Signature Care.

How to use your warranty

If something isn’t working right, here’s how a warranty repair works at Audi Sewickley.

  • Call service at 412-324-6685 or schedule online. Describe what you’re noticing and when it happens.
  • Bring the car in. Our Audi-trained technicians diagnose the problem.
  • If it’s covered, we repair it with Audi Genuine Parts at no cost to you for covered items.
  • Keep your maintenance records. They help if a question about coverage ever comes up.

Your coverage, year by year

Here’s how coverage lines up on a 2026 or newer Audi, assuming normal driving.

  • Years 1 to 3: scheduled maintenance is covered by Audi Signature Care, up to 30,000 miles. The New Vehicle Limited Warranty and roadside assistance are both active.
  • Year 4: the New Vehicle Limited Warranty and roadside assistance continue until 4 years. The warranty also ends at 50,000 miles if you reach that first.
  • After year 4: repairs and maintenance are paid as you go. Ask us about extended protection options before your warranty ends.
  • If the car is sold as Certified Pre-Owned: the next owner gets 1 more year or 20,000 miles of CPO coverage after the new-car warranty ends.

Winter, road salt and your Audi

Pittsburgh roads are salted all winter. Rinse the underside of your car regularly from November to March, and fix paint chips before they spread. Your Warranty and Maintenance booklet lists the corrosion coverage on your model.

Keep these records

Good records make any warranty question simple. Keep every service receipt, whether the work was done here or somewhere else. Note the date and mileage of each oil change, tire rotation and inspection. If you buy tires or brakes elsewhere, keep those receipts too. When you sell or trade your Audi, a full service history also helps its value. Our service records show your visits at Audi Sewickley, but outside work only shows up if you keep the paperwork.
