What's new, section by section
This is the biggest single change. The 2026 Q7 55 TFSI made 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft from a 3.0-liter turbo V6; the 2027 Q7 makes 429 horsepower and 442 lb-ft from a new 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6. That is 94 more horsepower and a 0–60 time that drops from 5.6 to 4.8 seconds, on an SUV that still tows 7,700 pounds. The 2026 lineup also offered a 261-HP four-cylinder Q7 45; the 2027 Q7 launches with the V6 only, with the 591-HP SQ7 above it.
